We started our honeymoon journey from Dubai International Airport. We had a direct flight for 4.30 hours via Emirates Airline to Seychelles International Airport in Mahé located near the Capital of Seychelles, Victoria.
We had our flight at 2:30 AM and we landed around 7:30 AM in Seychelles. Seychelles has on Arrival Visa for Pakistani Nationals. In the plane, we had given the Polio declaration form which we needed to keep with us and submitted to the Emigration officer on passport control.
The process was quite smooth but the queue was a bit long as they had two opened passport control counters. The Airport is quite small, it hardly took us 5 minutes in luggage pick-up and exiting the airport.
We bought the local sim from the Airport which was quite expensive as our resort was on another Island called “Silhouette” we wanted to stayed connected.
Silhouette Island is the 3rd largest Island of Seychelles with the population of 200 people. The Island also has 5 mountains over 500 meter tall.
The ferry service to Silhouette Island is from Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort & Spa located in Victoria. We took the Taxi to Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort which was around 16 KM from Airport and it cost us $40.
After the drive of 30 minutes, passing by a beautiful landscape we reached the Resort. Everyday, the ferry goes 3 times to Silhouette Island and comes back 2 times to Main Island.
The timings of Ferry were normally according to the timings of International flight. We reached around 10 AM and waited for our ferry around 30 minutes.
Private ferry transfer for the Guest of Hilton Labriz had been offered by Hilton. The transfer cost was around $45 per person for the round trip. Silhouette Island is like a private Island where you don’t find many local people.
The hotel staff was very friendly, they placed our luggage in the Ferry. We had a ferry ride for around 40 minutes. The breeze and the beautiful turquoise sea made our journey very memorable.
We finally reached our Resort Hilton Labriz, the staff took off our luggage at the dock and put it in the Golf car. The Golf car took us to the main reception. The staff greeted us with fresh drinks.
The check-in time was 2 PM. We were lucky that our room was already prepared. Some guests needed to wait until their room got ready.

Resort Tour:
The Golf car driver took us to the tour of the Resort and guided us about the activities, restaurants and Spa in the resort.
The resort tour started from the dock, there was a forest on one side and Villas on the other side, then came the main reception and more Villas after the reception.
In the center of the resort, there were 8 different restaurants and bars. The artificial pond had been located near the Restaurants.
You can also find a small shop from where you can buy swimsuits and Souvenirs. The Resort also has an activity center from where you can book your activities and you can also rent a bicycle.
The resort also had a tennis court and Mini golf. After that, the most luxurious Villas came with private pools and Gardens. The resort also has an organic garden where you find the fresh vegetables and Fruits.
The Golf car took us to the Spa which was surrounded with Forest. In the end, Resort has a beautiful decorated stage on the beach for the destination wedding.
The resort also has a capacity to arrange meetings, events and weddings for their Guests. After showing around, the driver had dropped us to our Villa.
Our Villa:
Our Villa was on the beach front and had a stunning view of Indian Ocean.
We also had an amazing private Patio which was a perfect place to enjoy the coffee with an amazing view of the beachfront.
We had a very spacious villa with King-sized bed, sitting area with comfy sofa and 32-Inch HDTV and working desk and lamp. The room also had a dressing table. The Villa had a luxurious bathroom with separate bathtub and shower and outdoor rain shower.
The WiFi was available in the resort so you can also be connected with the world outside of the resort. But to be honest, we were so indulged in the beauty and calmness of the resort we didn’t feel the need of knowing what’s happening outside.
Our Resort has a thick tropical forest in its surroundings, there were small mosquitoes and insects in the surroundings. They had all the amenities like Mosquitoes spray, Aloe Vera gel, Sun block, Bathrobe, Bath Slippers etc.
The Resort also has more luxurious Villas with Beachfront and Plunge pool and King Garden Villa.
How we spent our honeymoon in Seychelles Labriz Resort and Spa:
On the first night of our arrival, the Resort had arranged a party along the pool. There were traditional African dancers and the live performance by the jugulars with fire acts. All the guests were amazed by the performers.
Breakfast:
We used to start our day with an amazing breakfast at Cafe Dauban. The Cafe used to offer Breakfast Buffet from 7 AM to 11 AM.
The cafe had both indoor and outdoor sitting from where you can enjoy the beautiful view of Indian Ocean.
The breakfast had a variety of options from different countries all over the World. From the live cooking station, you can have the eggs of your choice, Crepes, Waffles and Pancakes.
The breakfast also included Fresh fruits and vegetable salad, varieties of Pastries and cakes.
There was a huge station with all different types of cereals, Dry fruits and fresh juices.
Relaxing on beautiful beach of Indian Ocean:
One of the most beautiful beaches in the World is in Seychelles. The crystal clear Turquoise water with white sandy beach.
Silhouette Island has a beach around 20 KM long and the Hilton Labriz has the beach in front of the resort which was reserved only for its guests.

The beach was very private and most of the time, we hardly had 1-2 couples near us. The beach provides the ultimate experience of privacy with no crowd at all.
The beach had Coral Reef due to which water remains shallow. So, the swimmers like me can easily swim and enjoy the ocean with safe swimming.
The beach had large granite rocks and tropical trees which made the most beautiful scenic view. The beach was also perfect for family vacations and kids friendly.
The granite boulders were protecting the beach from the open ocean. It’s also a perfect beach for the photographer where they can cover the beauty beach in Indian Ocean.
The weather of the tropical island was just perfect around 28 degree Celsius with beautiful sun and clouds at the same time in the sky.
We used to spend most of our time on the beach soaking up the sunlight and swimming in the Indian ocean turquoise water.
The beach also had Hammock attached with the trees which was so relaxing.
Note: Don’t forget to Put the sunblock, I really had a bad sunburn.
Dining Experience:
Before coming, we had only booked a Half-Bowl package with the Resort which includes Breakfast only. Then, we changed it to the Full-Bowl package which includes both Breakfast and Dinner in the resort.
There are 8 different restaurants that offered different varieties of cuisines from different continents. It’s important to make the reservation of the Restaurants.
We had been to 4 different restaurants during our stay and enjoyed the yummies food from all over the globe.
Cafe Dauban:
The Dinner Buffet had been set every day in Cafe Dauban from 7 PM to 10 PM. every night had a different theme buffet. We had tasted their Street food, Arabic Cuisine and Mediterranean buffet. The cafe had an amazing Ocean view with yummiest live cooking stations.
We also got the one complimentary Welcome dinner from the Resort. The Price of the Buffet was $55 per person excluding drinks.
Sakura Restaurant:
Sakura Restaurant was located on the Shore of Indian Ocean and offered Authentic Asian food. The restaurant was one of the most Romantic one where you can dine in Moonlight.
Lo Brazilian Bar:
For lunch and snacks, we used to go to Lo Brazilian Bar. We loved to have their French Fries and Mojito in Cabanas with the View of the ocean.
4th Degree Beach Bar:
It was an open air bar with lively Music and environment. It offered different snacks and cocktails with comfy sitting.
The view of the sea was so mesmerizing and looked so romantic.
Pool:
The Resort had an amazing pool to relax and enjoy with the family. The pool side has also sun beds with umbrellas and Cabanas.
Eforea Spa:
The Resort had the best Eforea Spa offered massages, body treatments, facials and they used all the Natural Ingredients.
The Spa also had a Whirlpool and Plunge pool in Natural environment surrounded by forest along the Sauna and Steam room.

The resort also offered different experience like Scuba diving, Snorkeling, Kayaking, Jungle fun for the Kids, Cooking classes, Yoga sessions, Offshore fishing and Coastal trolling.
You can also go for hiking trips to Grand Barbe, Ramasse Tout and Abse Mondon, Exploring of Praslin and La Digue and Sunset Cruise.
Our Departure:
We had an early morning flight from Seychelles. The Resort already had a transfer service at 5 AM from Silhouette Island to Hilton Seychelles Northolme in main Island. The Golf car was already waiting for us on our doorstep, We checked out around 4.30 AM and headed towards the dock.
It was a thunderstorm and the sea quite rough. It was our first time that we experienced the Thunderstorm and rough sea. It took us around 40 to reach the main Island and from there we took a taxi to the Airport.
After Spending 4 days, we went back to Dubai from where we had a connecting flight to Istanbul, Turkey.
