The Famous Burger Chain has changed the dynamics of Burgers and has served one of the Best Burgers in the UK since 2001. The GBK was owned by one of the best New Zealand-born and London-based Chefs, Peter Gordon.
Later on, it was sold to Capricorn Ventures, which is also managing Nandos. The restaurant has over 60 branches in the UK and opened franchises in Greece, Ireland, Oman, and UAE.
The Foodchain has introduced the large giant Burger in the UK for the first time, and they are famous for their prime beef with fresh ingredients and homemade sauces made in GBK’s kitchen.
In Dubai, there are three branches of GBK. We have been to GBK Dubai, located in Mirdif City Center. The Restaurant is located inside the mall, and it’s very near to Dubai International Airport.
Ambiance & environment:
The restaurant is quite spacious with its elegant and sober ambiance which provides a very rich and pleasant experience for its customers.
The Staff & Services:
GBK Dubai has a very polite, humble, and welcoming staff. They offered very friendly services even the waiter was also giving his recommendations and helping us in the selection of the best food of the restaurant.
We also experienced live cooking in the kitchen, and everything was up to hygiene and safety standards.

Aoon being a crazy beef lover, ordered Shroom Swiss Burger, which cost AED 43. The burger has mouth-watering Angus Beef with Swiss Cheese, Sauteed Mushrooms & Home Mayo, and Crunchy caramelized onions which enhances the flavor of each bite.
As I’m a Chicken fan, I ordered Jalapeno Overload, which cost AED 39. It has Chargrilled Chicken with Smoked Chilli Mayo, Chopped Jalapeno & green Chilli, Chilli Salsa, Natural Cheddar Cheese, Tomato, and Crunchy Onions. OMG !!! WHAT A TASTE. I totally loved each and every bite of it.
We also ordered Chicken Platter breast (cost AED 44), which is Chargrilled Chicken with the perfect combination of spices and a bit soggy which enhances the rich flavor of Chicken. It comes with two side dishes. We selected GBK Homeslaw and Char-grilled corn.
We also ordered Chunk fries (cost AED 18) and homemade onion rings (cost AED 22).
In the drinks, we would highly suggest trying their Classic Mojito costs AED 22, and Strawberry Milkshake costs AED 27.
We already had lot of food so we didn’t have space in our stomach for the desserts.
Everything was just delicious and yummy !!! WE CAN’T WAIT TO GO BACK and try their burgers again.
Overall, the restaurant costs between AED 75 to AED 90 per person for burgers, Sides, drinks, and desserts.
